Every feature, one at a time

Wash score

Whether today is a good day for a wash, in a few plain words. And the best day of the week ahead, from the forecast where you are.

  • A suggestion firstLike “Good day for a wash” or “Maybe hold off”, or the reason when one decides the day, like “Snow first, wash after”.
  • The better day, namedOn a day to skip, the line under it says when a day is clearly better, like “Saturday looks better.” The week ahead tags the best day.
  • The number behind itThe score, 0 to 100, sits small beside the words. It starts at 100 and each reason to wait takes points off. Tap a day to see what each one took.
  1. Great day for a wash85 to 100
  2. Good day for a wash70 to 84
  3. Could go either way50 to 69
  4. Maybe hold off30 to 49
  5. Let this one pass0 to 29
  • Dry ahead

No rain in the next day or two, so a wash stays clean.

  • Rain coming

Rain likely in the next six hours costs the most. Rain tomorrow costs less.

  • Snow and freezing

Snow in the forecast, or temperatures near freezing, pull the score down.

A forecast, not a promise. The forecast comes from Apple Weather.

Road salt and winter

After a snowy or icy week, it tells you when to rinse the salt off.

The app looks back over the past seven days as well as ahead. A day with a fifth of an inch of snow or more, or any wet hour at 28°F or colder, means the roads were likely salted.

  • While it's still freezingThe score stays low and says to wait for a dry day above freezing.
  • On the first good dayThe salt adds 10 points and the headline says “Time to rinse off the salt”, with a reminder to ask for an underbody rinse.
  • Tell it you washedTap “I washed my car” and that salt stops counting. The date stays on your phone. Days since your last wash count too, but only on a day the weather already rates good.

CarPlay and Siri

Whether today looks like a wash day, on your CarPlay dashboard. The Wash Near Me widget says it in a few words, with the reason and the nearest wash.

From iOS 26 the widget can sit on the CarPlay dashboard, and on your Home Screen and Lock Screen. On your phone, one tap on it opens a quote request to your wash, filled in from last time. Or ask Siri. It answers out loud and doesn't open the app, so it works while you drive.

Ask Siri for today's score

  • “Is today a good day to wash in Wash Near Me?”
  • “Wash Near Me wash score”
  • “Should I wash my car with Wash Near Me?”

Ask Siri for the nearest wash

  • “Nearest car wash in Wash Near Me”
  • “Find a car wash with Wash Near Me”
  • “Wash Near Me nearest wash”

For your business

Run a car wash or a detailing business? Drivers using the app can find it.

List it free and you are on the map and in the results. With Pro, drivers can send you a quote request with photos of their car, from the app or from your link in bio. The Verified mark means we confirmed who runs the business. It comes with either plan and is never for sale.

Free

A basic listing, free.

Your name, what you do, your area and your hours, with Call and Directions buttons, in the app and on the website. Your Home shows how often you came up in a search, and how many drivers tried to request a quote.

Pro, $29 a month or $290/yr

Your page, the requests, and the jobs that come back.

Your own page, a request form, and an inbox that tells your phone the moment a request arrives. Coming to iPhone: a labeled Sponsored row in the Wash Near Me app. No trial and no contract. You buy Pro on the website, from your account; the app never takes payment.

What Pro adds

  • Quote inbox, with photos

Every request lands in one inbox with the car, the job, the day and the photos the driver took. Your phone gets a notification, and you reply by text, call or email.

  • Your page and link in bio

One link for your Instagram or TikTok bio. People see your work and your prices and send a request from there. Book more jobs from the followers you already have.

  • Past jobs, before and after

Add a finished job with its photos, the car and the service. When a customer agreed to it, their request photos can become a past job in one tap.

  • Rebooking rewards

Set up an offer once: a percent or dollars off, or a punch card. Send the code to a customer after the job, for coming back or for sending a friend.

  • Reports

Where each request came from (your page, your bio link, your website, a reward code), Calls and Directions counted by kind, and a download of your requests.

When can I get it?
It is not in the App Store yet. Leave your email above and we will write when you can install it. It is for iPhone, on iOS 26 or later.
Where does it work?
Listings start in the Chicago area, so that is where the app finds washes and detailers for now. The wash score uses the forecast for wherever you are.
Is there an Android version?
Not now. The app is for iPhone. The washes and detailers are on the website for any phone, at washnear.me/find.
Do I need an account?
No. The score, the map and saved places all work without one. Saved places and the date of your last wash stay on your phone. Business owners sign in with their email to see their requests.
Where does the wash score come from?
From the Apple Weather forecast for where you are: the next 48 hours for today, and each day of the week ahead. It is a forecast, not a promise.
Does the app take payment?
No. You pay the wash or the detailer directly. Wash Near Me never handles that money, and a business buys Pro on the website, not in the app.
I run a business. Do I have to pay to be in the app?
No. A free listing puts you in the app and on the website with Call and Directions. Pro adds your own page, quote requests with photos and the rest. For your business
